Women in their 50s are in a precarious position of not being old enough to be seniors but too old to be considered youthful. In many ways we're invisible. We are constantly in search of role models that represent these "tweener" years. When you add curviness to the mix, the representation becomes even smaller and less flattering.
Sarah has been known to juggle her career while waiting tables at a popular Nashville venue / eatery, The Family Wash while road managing other artists, acting as a personal assistant, styling video shoots for me and throwing pottery in her spare time. Didn't I tell you she was awesome?
This is how it's done in 2014. We are beautiful, curvy and sexy and we are not going to hide any more. If you cannot see beauty in these confident, strong women you have a problem, not the other way around.
Some people can pull off fashionably rebellious looks, but not this diva. I've learned to listen to the pros and stay in my line; my lane is certainly not that of a fashion stylist.
Whether you're tall and have had lifelong issues finding pants that don't resemble capris, or your chest has rendered button-down shirts off-limits, a trip to the mall can not only be incredibly frustrating, but quite defeating when nothing seems to fit.
