As a dad raising two young daughters under the age of 4, I'm concerned about where we're heading. What happened to the powerful conversations I used to take part in during my college years?
Someone once told me that the main thing is to ensure the main thing always remains the main thing. Are my kids happy? Are they healthy? Are they safe? Are they kind? That's what matters to me.
Today's dads are clueless, incompetent, emotionless buffoons who don't know their asses from their elbows when it comes to childcare, right? Wrong. Dead wrong.
Sadly, there are men who've been married for decades and still have no clue about what it takes to be a good dad or husband. Don't be like them.

My dad understands that intelligence without proper action is no different from being a billionaire stranded alone on a deserted island with no means of communication. What good is all of that money if you don't use it?
When I posted a photo of myself and my two daughters, I never expected it to go viral. Nor did I expect the racist backlash. But both things happened, and I'm only now -- after catching my breath -- ready to address the conclusions.
