As you take back the authority of your life, you clear the cobwebs and shift out of confusion. With each step you take to love and listen to yourself, you get grounded in your wisdom. Little steps become giant steps of trust. You stop talking the talk and finally walk the walk, and become a Leader of Love.

Joy is different than happiness although they are closely related. Joy contains an aspect of happiness, but it is deeper rooted, rooted in the good earthy, visceral goodness that is available to all of us despite tragedy and pain.
But in the end I think that's okay. There's healing to do, and asking is how we begin.
I missed the experience of the sacred. I missed the sense of communicating with a higher power. I missed the experience of the divine, the thing larger and greater than we are.
Deciduous trees in winter, shorn of their leaves and their greeniness, seem so full of soul and will and intention -- despite their barren branches -- that I want to say, yes, trees are an expression of the divine.

The most frustrating part is being so caught up in the doing, creating and performing that you lose sight of what you're trying to achieve and, funnily enough, you end up getting nowhere.
In defeat, there is a tendency to close down and be judgmental. When we get down on ourselves, it is easy to forget that the Divine is continually rooting for us to get back up and make the most out of the next opportunity to move forward.
Humanity's Call on this life, is to get the whole place back to what it is meant to be! Where children are not suffering. Where people are being fed, and where we are all taking care of each and every person here on Earth.
