For me, travel was the ultimate cure for my divorce. For you it might be something else entirely. The key is to find out. To get out there. To explore. To dream. To remember who you were before you got caught up in your marriage and all its problems. It's a great big ol' world. Get out there and explore!
Once the divorce was finalized, I was like a 21-year-old let out at a bar for the first time.
Finding the right support during divorce can be challenging to say the least. Friends who you thought would be there aren't, family is in upheaval and not necessarily available to you due to their own pain, and best friends--who are always amazing--will get worn thin in time.
