The average price of a best-seller jumps up this week on the Digital Book World Ebook Best-Seller List, from $6.89 to to $8.05.
Oh yeah...I went there. All the fuss over 50 Shades of Grey simply got the best of me and I somehow found myself at an 8pm prescreening Thursday night at the Arclight. (Whatever, don't judge me.)
The film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey is due to hit theaters on Valentine's Day, likely propelling two-thirds of James's trilogy up the rankings much the way the Bradley Cooper movie recently helped American Sniper into the No. 1 spot a few weeks ago.

Dakota Johnson has been cast as Anastasia Steele in "50 Shades Of Grey," this according to author E L James who tweeted the news on Monday. Johnson was first rumored for the role in a report from TheWrap on Aug. 22.
