Want to know how to get over that? How to get over the "I could never try that?" Have a staring contest with fear. Promise yourself whoever blinks first is the loser.

Forgiving yourself is another way of giving yourself permission to get out of your own way. To see the truth for what it is, rather than hide behind it. If we take self-forgiveness moments, it changes our perspective, and therefore our approach to life. Our mood lifts, and we return to feeling happy and having that inner calm again.
HuffPost's Third Metric seeks to redefine success beyond money and power. But how can we find that third metric if we stress about the failure in finding those first two? How does fear of failing interfere with our success?
