Sometimes when we are trying to communicate with another person it can feel like crossing the Grand Canyon. There can be a huge chasm between the message we are intending to send and the message that is actually received. We can even tell someone while delivering our intended message that we aren't criticizing them, or that we aren't trying to hurt their feelings, but they still end up hurt and feeling criticized.
What matters is that the individual himself accept the time and energy needed to metabolize and integrate the psychic change in order to continue with life in the present.
The questions to ask is: What uproots and what anchors us? Discovering the answer and following the steps that connect and stabilize us, may prevent the treacherous state.
There are metrics for measuring goals, P&L statements to show bottom-line profits and trophies to reflect triumph however, there is not a gauge to measure character and integrity -- central to creating a successful business with loyal employees while enjoying a respected reputation.
