According to Deadline.com, the 40-year-old actor is in talks to star in "Gone Girl," the upcoming adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling 2012 novel of the same name. Affleck would play Nick Dunne, a man involved in a highly toxic relationship with his wife. The marriage dissolves to the point of crime and horrid violence. Amy, Nick's wife, has not yet been cast.
