Ethics is something that was taught in ancient Greece and was once neatly woven into our secondary education system. Ethics classes, like civics classes, are now rarely found on the high school level in this country. Isn't it time to resurrect this again?

The last place we imagined our daughters would be objectified would be while riding the New York City subway to school. There are three ads currently on display from Doctor's Plastic Surgery -- one more offensive than the other.

New York City, the greatest metropolis in the world, looks great on the outside. There are gleaming luxury high-rise buildings, shiny new neighborhoods and energetic tourists everywhere.But looks are deceiving.

We should do everything in our power to transition the bright minds at IPEC into the clean renewable energy sector in New York, which is growing daily. Let's keep them employed -- and then some. But most importantly, let's keep this country safe.

So, Ted Cruz, my disillusioned friend.. .you wouldn't last in New York for a New York minute. You simply don't have the moxie, the wit, the street smarts or the fortitude to have what it takes. Nice try, pal. As a New Yorker by way of Florida... thanks for the compliment.
