“There is a high risk for heat illness along with heightened fire weather concerns,” the NWS Los Angeles office reported.
Hotter temperatures can increase heat-related illnesses, reduce paychecks and even kill those who labor outdoors.
“This is a public health issue; this is a justice issue,” an advocate said.
