Htin Kyaw

Htin Kyaw, a close friend and confidant of Nobel peace prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, was hand-picked by her to run Myanmar's government.
The Nobel peace prize laureate's name was linked to four ministries: minister of the president's office, foreign affairs, electric power and energy and education.
He is the first head of state who does not hail from a military background since the 1960s.
