Is this movie finally going to happen?

I wanted to know if success like Mr. Blockbluster's is merely a stroke of luck or if there really is something done differently that I could personally apply to build my own writing career in the entertainment business.

In Hollywood, the art of the deal takes precedence over audience appeal. Ideas and screenplays are bought and produced with millions of dollars before any consumer is allowed to take a peek at the results.
