killer whales

Killer whales aren't often spotted in Indian Arm, a fjord in B.C., because it's industrial and very loud. But with social distancing keeping people in their homes and the area silent, a pod of orcas decided to visit.
Kasatka was born in the wild, and had numerous descendants at SeaWorld.
Experts fear other members of the orca’s pod may have so much toxic PCBs in their bodies that they can’t reproduce.
I recently got back from my 7th continent trip - a basecamp activity cruise to Antarctica. As one would anticipate, it truly was a trip of a lifetime and filled with unexpected adventures at every turn.
