Just in time for the NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns surprised one of their hometown fans with the opportunity of a lifetime. Seventeen-year old high school point guard Jared Ornoski, who was diagnosed with Hodgkins-Lymphoma in January, was given an honorary front office "contract" to take part in draft activities with the team. The team is using the hashtag #PHX4JARED on social media during his time with the Suns.
"When they said 'yellow fever,' it wasn't all these white girls going for Asian guys."
Orlando's Aaron Gordon knows that "if you develop the person, then the basketball player becomes better."
"It can give you the chills sometimes," he said of his decades covering the NBA.
