OMG
I saw Straight Outta Compton on opening day. Here are 10 things I learned:
Far from being the leafy path to serenity, self help became the greasy downhill slide into insanity. I didn't snap out of it until I realized I was wrapping my legs in seaweed and singing to the seals as part of a Loon Point yoga-thin.
I've done some imbecilic things in my life but nothing tops trying to build my own website without professional help. What I thought would be a fun weekend project made me go gray in places I didn't know I had hair.
In order to maximize the space, we broke into the old phone nook on the other side of the wall which gave us two extra feet. Then, with the combo of shelves, hampers, hooks and rods, our closets are ready to be filled back up again... in a more organized fashion this time.

Our dining room is officially finished, and we could not be more excited to reveal the finished product. From our magical moon-surface-inspired ceiling to our vintage marquee sign, this room has the perfect eclectic and chic vibe that Joey and I adore.
Where do you go for gems?! The junkyard of course! We ended up finding some great pieces too: a mirror, two bronze jugs, an old bar marquee that say's "Jo's Place", and a vintage gum ball machine.
We put up our chandelier, picked out a wallpaper to put up on our ceiling, refinished a built-in cabinet and turned it into our bar, caged a plant, and got a TEMPORARY dining table.
