The decision comes amid widespread anti-racism protests and a report that a crew from the show filmed the death of a Black man in police custody.
"I Am Patrick Swayze" will hit the Paramount Network on Aug. 18, which would have been the actor's 67th birthday.
"This company can’t be speaking out of both sides of its mouth," said Paramount Network executive Keith Cox.
