I worry less about the global economy; a surprisingly large number of business leaders told me in private that they're upbeat about everybody's economic prospects. Their real unease is based on the realization that a 'Grand Illusion' has come to an end.
Is it time for the spin police?  Sitting in the theaters of entertainment, politics and business, one wonders if practitioners of influence are abusing their tradecraft and the trust of their markets.  One wonders then if they'll self-correct or be market-corrected.

Fabricated is an exhibit curated by Melissa Stafford and is taking place at the Tremaine Gallery at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut. The show "examines, through photography, the relationship between the individual and his or her designed environment."
