Abigail Disney says it's time to let the younger generation take over.
Disney does not have an active role in the company her grandfather co-founded, but she has repeatedly taken the company to task for CEO Bob Iger’s $65.6 million compensation last year.
“No one who votes for this tax bill will be voting with your life in mind. But you will pay for it.”
While still living in Kansas City, Elias Disney, Walt and Roy's father, was growing tired and frustrated with the newspaper delivery business. In the spring of 1917, he decided to invest in a jelly company.
So it was Walt who dreamed up the Disney Company. And it was his older brother Roy O. who repeatedly found the funds necessary to turn Walt's dreams into reality.
