The Department of Transportation is considering new rules that would restrict service animals on airplanes to specially trained dogs.
The federal agency clarified its policies on service animals, overriding Delta's ban on pit bulls and on emotional support animals on long flights.
“Dozens, maybe millions of illegal immigrants” are “headed straight for you and your grandchildren.”
The new policy doesn't define what that means, though.
The airline released a list of prohibited animals after seeing a 40 percent rise in onboard companions.
