I've heard from a lot of friends and colleagues lately who aren't where they want to be in life. I'm glad I'm their friend and that I have chance to help give them strength and perspective to remind them of who they are.
What we used to call bad PR years ago when I first started my career is now just part of the social media universe. People are ranting and raving about a business that may or may not be underperforming.
Happy New Year. People with disabilities are gaining recognition as a significant and growing market for products and services. This will only strengthen as we turn the corner.
We should not only start portraying real beauty and real happiness but also the struggles of real life. It is what's real that is most beautiful, the good and the bad. The more we portray that message on social media the more young adults will learn to love themselves for who they are instead of striving to be an image that in reality does not exist.
