The Crimson Tide faithful were left empty-handed and disappointed at the conclusion of Saturday night's events, many, even frustrated. A rough night in Tuscaloosa and a rough Saturday for the Tide Faithful as Alabama Football fell to Ole Miss 43-37.

It's "Rivalry Week" in college football and few games mean more to the College Football Playoff picture than the Egg Bowl taking place in Oxford, Mississippi between the Ole Miss Rebels and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
This week, we feature a cross-divisional matchup in the SEC that could have major college football playoff ramifications, especially if the game is as competitive as we anticipate throughout.
This morning I overheard a man in his mid-fifties say, "Isn't he a homo?" Naturally, I assumed he was talking about me, so I looked up from my book and started to not-so-accidentally eavesdrop. Turns out, they were talking about Michael Sam.
2015 marks the first year of the Final Four format, which means the much anticipated end to the 16-year BCS. That is a good thing for college football. Let me rephrase that: It is a great thing for college football. And the SEC showing a chink in its armor might just be as well.
