St. Louis cops "exercised their discretion in an arbitrary and retaliatory fashion to punish protesters for voicing criticism of police," the judge ruled.
And almost no one batted an eye.
Along with a Unitarian church across the street.
Eyewitnesses said cops yelled the refrain, which has often been used by Black Lives Matter activists, more than once.
The demonstration has been peaceful, police say.
"We cannot in good conscience risk our fans’ safety by proceeding with tonight’s concert," the band said.
“We haven’t made any progress since Ferguson, that’s clear. Cops can still kill us with impunity," a local reverend said.
Three years after Mike Brown was killed in Ferguson, the St. Louis region is once again on edge.
