steel-cut oats

We've never been so excited to wake up in the morning.
You deserve a cozy bowl of steel cut oats studded with vanilla beans, maple syrup and cinnamon spice. Superwoman can't save the world without the proper fuel ya know?
When you think of oatmeal, don't think of a paper packet of dehydrated sawdust.
The irony is, I'm crazy about your great natural cholesterol-reducing foods. I love oatmeal. Oats weren't in the picture (or in the kitchen) when I was a kid. I came to this passion as an adult. They're so soothing, so filling, so energizing. We're not talking your wimpy instant oats.
We all have excuses for not eating healthy foods. My oatmeal excuses are endless: it tastes bad; takes too long to make; is mushy; and makes the hardest dish to wash ever if you don't rinse it right away. But then I discovered that most box cereals have the nutritional value of a Twinkie.
Some call it the luck of the Irish, but I'm half Irish and I like to believe that what fuels my luck (and health) is eating a healthy breakfast!
