Australian researchers are hoping to use genetic engineering to bring back the extinct Tasmanian tiger.
Researchers said they had partnered with Colossal Biosciences, a Texas company at the forefront of whatâs known as the âde-extinctionâ movement.
The short video shows the last thylacine, Benjamin, in an enclosure in Hobart before he died in 1936.
The "precious" video hasn't been seen publicly for 85 years and is believed to be the last footage of the extinct marsupial.
