Two Arizona officials reportedly were concerned about the legality of Donald Trump's plot to overturn the 2020 election.
The former trade adviser also accused Trump's vice president of "traitorous activity."
Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego said the Ohio Republican was a traitor to the U.S. Constitution.
L. Lin Wood falsely said that the vice president, Sen. Mitch McConnell and Chief Justice John Roberts conspired to deny Trump a second term.
President Donald Trump once again went after former President Barack Obama, this time accusing his predecessor of “treason.”
“Let’s see what happens to them now," the president said, once again attempting to shift blame for campaign interference to his predecessor.
The case was related to the state of emergency he imposed in 2007 while in power, officials said.
The short-lived White House communications director said the president had betrayed the Constitution and become a "traitor to the laws of the United States."
He also said that the whistleblower's attorney should be "sued" for "treason."
