USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71

The USS Theodore Roosevelt was sidelined in Guam for two months last year after an explosion of infections plagued the aircraft carrier.
The sailors had returned to duty on the aircraft carrier after previously testing negative. They have all been taken off the ship.
The aircraft carrier now has more than 400 confirmed cases after its captain was ousted for expressing concern about the virus.
After facing heat for his criticism of Captain Brett Crozier, Thomas Modly walked back his comments on Monday. "I think ... the opposite," Modly said.
Thomas Modly shocked the crew when he slammed Capt. Brett Crozier for sending an email about the coronavirus outbreak on board. Modly later apologized.
Numerous social media posts showed sailors loudly chanting “Captain Crozier” as Brett Crozier disembarked from the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
