Doug is the founder and President of Constitutional Accountability Center (fomerly Community Rights Counsel), a think tank, law firm and action center based in Washington, DC that is dedicated to the progressive promise of the Constitution's text and history. Doug has co-authored more than two dozen Supreme Court briefs and represented a long list of clients in constitutional cases in courts around the country and before the U.S. Supreme Court. His commentary has appeared in The New Republic, Slate, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, USA today and numerous other news outlets.
