10 Things I Learned about Amy Winehouse

I viewed the documentary movie Amy (2015) about Amy Winehouse and here are 10 things I learned:

1. She was Jewish.

2. She was bulimic.

3. She was addicted to drugs, heroin , coke, and crack and an alcoholic.

4. She only released two albums, Frank and Back to Black.

5. She collaborated with Yasiin Bey formerly known as Mos Def.

6. She idolized Sarah Vaughn and Tony Bennett and sang a duet with the latter who was in the film.

7. She was only 27 when she died in 2011 from alcohol poisoning.

8. "Love is a losing game". Amy Winehouse

9. She didn't think she was going to be famous.

10. Her biggest hit was Rehab and despite her declarations of no in the song, she did in fact go to rehab a few times.
