Arsenio Hall Gets Advice From Jay Leno On Comeback Show (VIDEOS)

Leno Kicks Off Arsenio's Comeback

"The Arsenio Hall Show" returned to airwaves after a 19 year absence Monday night, and we finally got a glimpse of what will be different about his new show versus the last one. In short: Not much. Whether that's a good thing or bad thing remains to be seen, but Arsenio, clad in a three-piece suit and cufflinks, seemed undeniably happy to be back onstage.

A few highlights:

  • The Dog Pound may be older, but they were still woof-woof-woofing it up from the audience.

  • Snoop Dogg, a.k.a. Snoop Lion, a.k.a Snoop Doggy Dogg (as Arsenio calls him), showed up to sing his breakout hit, “What’s My Name?” His TV debut was on "Arsenio," back in 1994.
  • Jay Leno, Paula Abdul and Chris Tucker made appearances as well. In the coming weeks, Arsenio said he plans to see big-name celebrities, from Prince to Louis C.K., stop by the show.
  • Check out Abdul saying hello to Arsenio above and welcoming him back to late night, and a few more highlights from the show below.
