The biggest names in Australian music have begun arriving at the 2015 ARIA Awards ceremony taking place at Sydney’s The Star on Thursday night.

From Ed Sheeran to Kylie Minogue, stars jetted in from all corners of the globe -- braving the scorching 38 degree heat -- and putting their most stylish (albeit balmy) foot forward to celebrate Australia’s music industry.

Mimi Elashiry looked like a garden fairy goddess with fellow MTV presenter, Krit.

Montana Cox looked crisp and cool strategically opting for a white Zimmermann number.

Channel V's Carissa Walford looked majorly sweet in a Barbie pink cut-out dress.

The Veronicas added a touch of goth glam with their floor length gowns and plum lips.

Sam Frost opted for a strapless two-piece walking the carpet with the two main men in her life, co-host Rove and beau Sasha.

When opposites attract, Jessica Gomes and Montana Cox make the perfect team.

This is sweet. Dami Im and Jai Waetford.

The Voice 2015 winner, Ellie Drennan looked chic in an all black ensemble.

Conrad Sewell, who is up for three ARIA nominations was all rockstar in leopard print.

Samantha Jade stepped up the glitz factor in a golden corset and sheer wrap-around skirt.

Kylie Minogue taking elegance to new heights.

Jessica Mauboy is working it.

Due to perform on the night is Ed Sheeran who is up for International Artist of the Year, as well as local talent Vance Joy and newcomer Conrad Sewell both of whom are nominated for multiple awards. Tina Arena, who will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame will also take the stage.

Osher Günsberg will be hosting the ceremony, broadcasted by Channel Ten from 7.30pm.
