Queensland Police have welcomed seven new furry recruits that are destined for bright futures in the force -- but before they start their training, they need to be named.
The puppies -- who are only six weeks old -- will undergo training once they've matured but until then, their main priority is being adorable (which, to be honest, they've already nailed).
According to naming convention, each of the German shepherd puppies must have names that begin with the letter 'G' -- Gina? Gaston? Goliath?
The possibilities are endless, and the best thing is that anyone can submit a suggestion for the names of the future crime fighting dogs online here.
Upon the successful completion of their training, the squad -- consisting of two males an five females -- are expected to serve as general purpose or drug detection dogs, and we're sure that they're going to do an excellent job.
