While countries including Senegal, Spain and Canada boast their own pink lakes, Australia has its very own. Located in Murray-Sunset National Park, not far from Mildura, the lakes are at their best from September-November when the algae in four of the park's lakes releases a red pigment causing them to turn pink. Throw in some bush walking, camping, golf, kayaking, fishing and some stunning sunsets and you've got yourself a great mini break.
