18 'Jeopardy!' Questions About Canada That Stumped Americans

This might as well be the citizenship test.
|

One of the best ways to test how Canadian you are, is to see if you can answer questions that Americans can't.

For this, there's the "Jeopardy!" archive, with questions about Canada that have stumped contestants for decades.

Players from south of the border have been unable to identify Canada's current prime minister. They also guessed incorrectly when asked to name a city where swans swim upon the Avon river (think Shakespeare). For other questions, it took multiple guesses before a contestant hit on the right answer.

Here are 18 "Jeopardy!" questions about Canada that Americans answered incorrectly. Can Canadians get them right?

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story misread an answer involving a quote by James Polk. The slide has been removed.
