45 Nostalgic Photos Of Queen Elizabeth II In Canada

HAPPY 90!

Happy birthday Queen Elizabeth II!

The Queen, who turns 90 on Thursday, has reigned for more than 63 years and doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. Celebrating her birthday in true royal fashion with a family gathering a fancy cake baked by a British reality TV star, a recent report even suggests the monarch is as popular as ever.

Her first official visit to Canada as queen happened in October of 1957, the CBC reports. Her last visit to the Great North was in 2010, as part of a royal tour.

But over the years, the Queen has done and seen it all. From meeting with the country's leaders to celebrating Canada's 100th anniversary to simply taking a fancy ride down the streets of Hamilton, Ont. we go back to the 50s to the 90s to celebrate some of her most nostalgic moments.
