The Huffington Post Canada has been nominated for five Canadian Online Publishing Awards.

Among the nominations are best overall online-only website and best news coverage.

Politics reporter Althia Raj’s series on Justin Trudeau, which was published as an ebook, landed HuffPost a nomination for best online-only series of articles.

HuffPost was also nominated for best use of social media, with the awards recognizing an article in which we surveyed readers to determine their odds of winning at Tim Hortons’ Roll Up The Rim contest.

The Living section picked up a nomination for Asking Y, HuffPost’s extensive series on millennials, in particular a story on marriage and millennials.

"It's great to see the evolving ways we tell stories get noticed and recognized," Managing Editor Kenny Yum said. "We're really proud of the hard work that's gone into our coverage of politics, news and lifestyle."

HuffPost Canada was also nominated for COPAs last year, its first full year of publication. Along with parent company AOL Canada, it picked up eight nominations.
