Where were these houses when we were kids?!
An Alberta dad is using his imagination (and construction know-how) to make kids' dreams come true in the form of incredibly elaborate playhouses.
The homes — that mirror fairytale classics like Rapunzel's castle and a pirate ship — are made of solid wood, and feature luxury details like stonework, slides, working lights, and even hot tubs.
Lethbridge's Tyson Leavitt founded the Charmed Playhouses company last year after a decade working in landscaping.

Leavitt designs the homes for a team of architects to build, and then his wife, Audrey, decorates the interiors.
After that, the tiny houses are play tested by the Leavitts' kids — Miles, Emmett, and Lydia.
“It’s crazy. . . . We’re in Lethbridge, Alberta," Leavitt told The Calgary Herald. "It’s a Prairie town, population of (about) 90,000 people, and here we’re building the most expensive and luxurious playhouses in probably all the world.
"It’s one of those niche markets that no one else is really doing.”
Leavitt's designs have charmed families around the world, giving him the chance to tackle projects such as princess castles for a Chinese theme park, to a custom cottage for an NBA player's daughter.
The company will even be starring in the upcoming TLC show "Project Playhouse."
The miniature dream homes prove costly for parents — the homes start at $7,500 — but business is still booming.
“We've been getting requests from Italy, from Germany, from London, Australia," Leavitt told CTV News. "It's crazy what's happened since people have heard what we're doing and how far and wide it has spread.”
