Vancouver-born actor Jacob Tremblay made his first trip to the Oscars Sunday night, and had everyone at home 'aww-ing' before he even entered the building.
And while the 9-year-old Room star was accompanied by an A-list group of prestigious actors that night, no one in the Dolby Theatre quite caught his attention like his all-time favourite Star Wars characters.
As R2-D2, C-3PO and BB-8 (whom he met prior at the Critic Choice Awards) took the stage, Tremblay adorably jumped out of his seat to catch a glimpse of the space droids in action as they paid tribute to musical composer John Williams.
Of course, the young actor got a couple pics with the whole Star Wars crew backstage, including Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley, which he later posted on his Instagram account, making our hearts melt!
"My new squad," Tremblay wrote in reference to his intergalactic friends.
This was clearly a dream come true for the avid fan who posted a few Star Wars-themed valentines on his Instagram account a few weeks prior to the awards, as well as a vid of him decked out in Jedi gear and a lightsaber this past December.
The brought his own Star Wars flair to the Academy Awards -- just check out those socks!
Aww!
