You’ll be hard-pressed to find a woman whose style and sense of self has evolved as dramatically as Jane Fonda’s. As a '60s film star, '70s activist and Academy Award-winning actor, and '80s fitness guru, the "Grace and Frankie" star has lived, seen and worn it all.

That’s why we’re using the premiere of her Netflix series (co-starring Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, and Sam Waterston) as a reason to pay tribute to her fashion awareness and countless transitions. After all, few people can move seamlessly from Barbarella to a short, shag haircut and live to tell the tell. Jane Fonda? She just makes it look easy.
