(L-R) Sister Jazmyn Bieber, father Jeremy Bieber, singer Justin Bieber and mother Pattie Lynn Mallete attend the premiere for 'Never Say Never' at the AMC Yonge & Dundas 24 theater on February 1, 2011 in Toronto, Canada.

Justin Bieber has made plenty of headlines this year for questionable judgement, but the singer will probably earn some brownie points with news he purchased a home for his father and the singer's step-siblings.

TMZ reports Bieber paid a reported $850,000 for the "5-bedroom cabin-style pad" in Ontario where his father Jeremy Bieber and half-brother and half-sister are residing. Bieber offered to purchase a home for them and paid cash for the home. There's no word as to the actual location of the home but TMZ states the home is in a "small town of roughly 8,000 people." From photographs it appears his father and step-siblings aren't trying to live in seclusion: the name Bieber is on the mailbox.

It's not the first home Bieber has purchased. The Daily Mail reported in 2012 Bieber paid $6 million for a luxury home in Calabasas, California. Meanwhile, earlier this year the singer purchased a mansion in Cartagena, Colombia valued at approximately $2 million. The Global Post reported Bieber fell in love with some of the tourist attractions there.

The singer is currently on tour in South America as part of his Believe world tour. The South American leg of his world trek continues tonight in Colombia and will conclude in Mexico City next month. From there Bieber heads to New Zealand and Australia for more dates, wrapping up the tour in Perth on Dec. 8.

"Colombia show was incredible last night," Bieber tweeted yesterday. "Sold out stadium and we SHUT THE PLACE DOWN! te amo." The singer also said he was eager for his Believe movie to be released. "cant wait for #BelieveMovie," he tweeted. "Im tired of all these rumors. Im gonna address everything and put it all to bed. truth is coming #christmasday

But while Bieber is buying a new house, his old friend Drake just sold his Toronto condo for $3.75 million! Have a look:

For a house of this price, the 3,400 square feet of living space and four bedrooms might seem less than impressive. But then, the house sits on a 75,000-square-foot lot overlooking the ocean. In Vancouver's Point Grey neighbourhood, that's enough to crown you king. For a wealthy investor, this property could be an ideal "tear-down."Sadly, only two pics available of this house. OK, this is NOT actually the house for sale. There is no house on this property; it's a vacant lot. The pictures depicted in the realtor's ad, of this rather extravagant property, are actually artist's renderings. But the renderings caused some confusion earlier this year, with the realtor being accused of running a "fake" ad.So rather than show you pictures of a vacant, $19.9-million lot, here are the artist's renderings of the non-existent, ninth-most-expensive house for sale in Canada.
