Met Gala 2016 Red Carpet Photos: All The Looks From Fashion's Biggest Night

All the pics from fashion's biggest night of the year.

The day has finally arrived!

The 2016 Met Gala (a.k.a. the fashion world's answer to the Oscars) is today, May 2nd, and you can bet fashion's biggest names brought their A-game to the star-studded event.

This year, A-listers, models, style stars and fashion elite are celebrating "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology," an exhibition curated and organized by Andrew Bolton which opens this month at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The exhibit will focus on "the dichotomy between handmade haute couture and machine-made fashion," according to Vogue.

However, it seems as though the theme was a bit lost with some of the stars, while others embraced it whole-heartedly with tech-savvy garments. But were they able to top what the stars wore in previous years?
