Pamela Anderson's 'Barb Wire' Roots: 'Baywatch' Babe Fails To Impress In Frayed Dress (PHOTOS)

You can take Pamela Anderson out of "Barb Wire" but you can't take "Barb Wire" out of Pamela Anderson.

The Canadian "Baywatch" babe tried to look classy at the opening of the Sapphire Pool & Day Club in Las Vegas on May 4, but ended up looking kinda trashy.

Pammy's dove-grey off-the-shoulder mini dress could have been a hit but the frayed edges on the hem, the wrinkles in the fabric and the black bra strap made it look as if it belonged in the garbage bin.

We have to give the 45-year-old some credit; Anderson tried to salvage the disaster with a cute black belt, movie star sunnies and sexy peep-toe pumps but they couldn't save the look. (If we can see your "Barb Wire" tattoo Pammy, you should probably change into a different outfit.)

Fortunately for us Pam lovers, the mom-of-two went totally glam in a white halter maxi dress later that night.

Pamela has been undergoing quite the dramatic transformation recently; Tommy Lee's ex debuted a curly, short bob in April and impressed with a more mature, sophisticated look at the International Beauty Show in New York also in April.

So maybe we can forgive her for this slight style hiccup.
