Regardless of your feelings about her music, you've got to hand it to Avril Lavigne for keeping her style consistent.
It might be the sole reason she looks nearly exactly the same when she started off making things complicated back in 2002 with her debut album, "Let Go". Since then she's gone from a household name in Napanee, Ont. to rocking out at shows in Japan. She's been married, divorced, remarried and even sparked a controversy or two.
But no matter what, she's always kept the heavy eye-liner and spunky pop-rock attitude that'll have everyone doing a double-take when you remember she's turning 30 next September. And if you need a reminder, here's her style "evolution" (we're using that term loosely here) for your consideration.
Never change, Avril. Never change.
