A lot can go wrong at a wedding from wardrobe malfunctions to late guests, but add children in the mix and it’s a whole other story.

Back in March, a clip of a four-year-old boy jumping on a the train of a bride's dress as she walked down the aisle sparked debate over whether or not kids should be allowed at weddings.

In the video above, The Doctors discuss this and the proper etiquette for bringing children to a ceremony.

When Tennessee mother Michelle Hall got married, she wasn’t the only one getting a kiss. Her 4-year-old daughter, Anderson, decided to get a smooch of her own, too, and surprised everyone when she planted one on the ring bearer, Ike.“I set up the entire wedding party for a formal shot as I do with every wedding, and then asked the bride and groom to kiss,“ photographer Leah Bullard told The Huffington Post. “Since Anderson had been calling herself the bride the whole day, she assumed I was referring to her and went in for a kiss, too. It was a memorable moment that had everyone in tears laughing.” (credit:Awkward Family Photos)

“This photo was captured by my uncle at my mom’s wedding to my step-father, when I was five. I was supposed to be flower girl and here is my mom trying to convince me to carry out my duties. I was unhappy about my haircut at the time being so bad and boyishly short. I was also unhappy about wearing a dress. I have never been very girly and can count the number of times I’ve worn a dress on one hand.” (credit:Awkward Family Photos)

“My brother and sister-in-law got married about 17 years ago and my kids were asked to be in their wedding party… my son was the ring bearer, my oldest daughter was a junior bridesmaid and my youngest daughter was dressed in a miniature replica of the bride’s gown. In this family photo, we look like a crazy family that just married off our two youngest children, my older daughter looks like she has one oddly placed prosthetic leg, and I’m rocking some sweet shoulder pads.” (credit:Awkward Family Photos)

“We had darling two-year-olds for our ring bearer and flower girl. While we were trying to get a picture of me and my niece, the flower girl, our spirited ring bearer decided to have a yank at my veil which was of course cemented on to my head with a thousand bobby pins and hair spray. I thought he was going to pull out a chunk! Children are such angels.” (credit:Awkward Family Photos)
