Unisex baby names are nothing new, but have quickly become one of the biggest trends among parents.

“Many parents want to transcend the old-fashioned feminine or masculine roles and image with names that have not traditionally been used for either boys or girls but can be used for both sexes,” baby name expert Pamela Redmond Satran, of Nameberry, told Yahoo Parenting.

While the unisex trend really picked up in 2015, celebrity parents – such as Melanie Griffith and Rosie O’ Donnell – chose gender-neutral monikers long before it was cool.

Here, we take a look at the 15 best (and unique) unisex baby names from Hollywood.
