Maldives clearly seems to be Bollywood's favorite destination for quick getaways.

After Shahid Kapoor whisked away wife Mira to the pristine island for a holiday before their baby arrives, it is newly-weds Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, who've landed in the island nation for their honeymoon.

Karan shared this picture from their honeymoon.

While Bipasha responded by posting this.

And here's a glimpse on the vibe of the place

Quoting a friend of the two, a Mumbai Mirror report said, "Following the wedding Karan and Bipasha have been busy throwing dinner parties for family and friends. This is a much-needed break although a short one since they will be returning by May 13. Maldives is their favourite holiday destination, they rang in the New Year there too. Knowing their love for beaches, their choice of destination for the honeymoon was hardly a surprise even though the decision was an impromptu one."

Bipasha and Karan got married on April 30 at South Mumbai's St. Regis hotel in a ceremony that was attended by some of the film industry's biggest stalwarts, including Amitabh Bachchan and family, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor among several others.
