The 20th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards were held in Mumbai on Wednesday night, the first time in the event’s history. The event is usually only held on foreign soil. 

Reuters’s Una Gulani said the ceremony lasted till 3 am!

Alia Bhatt-starrer Raazi  won best film while Sriram Raghavan won best director for AndhaDhun.

While Bhatt won the best actress award for Raazi and Ranveer Singh took home the best actor award Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone was awarded the Special 20 Award.
