Who doesn't love to deep dive into our country's rich historical past? Now that the New York Public Library has announced that they’ve made it possible to access their digital collection -- “no permission required, no hoops to jump through,” you can download and use the high-resolution images. All of them.

There's a huge collection of pictures in the archive. It provides a valuable glimpse into the cultural and socio-economic universe of Indians in 17th and 18th centuries.
