Remember Rubina Ali from Slumdog Millionaire? She was just nine years old when she played young Latika in the Oscar-winning film in 2008. She cropped up in news again in 2011, when her hut was one of the many that was burnt down in a fire at the slum she lived in.

The child star, who is now 16 years old, lives in Mumbai and wants to continue acting in films.

Har ladki ka sapna hota hai heroine banna (It's every girl's dream to be a heroine),” Rubina recently told Indian Express in an interview. “I definitely want to be in the movies.”
