23-year-old television anchor K Nirosha committed suicide on Wednesday morning.
According to ANI, Nirosha, an anchor for Gemini Music television channel in Secunderbad, hanged herself to death.
The News Minute reported that Nirousha allegedly fought with her male friend during a Skype call. With the video chat screen on, Nirosha started to tie herself to a ceiling fan. Alarmed, the friend, who is based in Canada called the police at around midnight asking them to to save her.
By the time the police reached her PG hostel she was already dead.
The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
