L’acteur Alec Baldwin pourrait tenir le rôle d’un maire de New York semblable à Rob Ford dans une nouvelle série télévisée.
Sur les médias sociaux, on était divisé mercredi soir à l’idée de voir le Jack Donaghy de 30 Rock jouer un rôle qui semble inspiré du controversé maire de Toronto.
Selon Deadline, Baldwin pourrait incarner un politicien qui fume du crack et qui «se comporte de façon étrange» dans une série dramatique pour NBC Productions.
Le pilote de l’émission encore sans titre sera écrit par Wells Tower et produit par Cary Brokaw et l’acteur lui-même.
Ce n’est cependant pas le seul projet d’Alec Baldwin. Deadline rapporte qu’il serait en pourparlers pour obtenir le rôle du responsable de la CIA dans le prochain film Mission: Impossible. Il serait également en négociations pour un rôle aux côtés de Will Smith dans un film sur les commotions au football.
Ces nouvelles de projets à venir surviennent après que Baldwin eut annoncé qu’il se retirait de la vie publique dans un essai pour le New York Magazine en février dernier.
